Hello, Our names our Thomas Feldmeier and Renee Feldmeier.
Our little girl, 11 years old, had been struck quickly over Thanksgiving
1996 with TM. She had no movement from the chest down for just 24 hours.
Over the coarse of 2 weeks she recovered completly. No spasms, no pain
and no after care.
We our very lucky, So yes this was a complete recovery. The first night
at the hospital a virus was shown on the MRI scan on the pine. The next
day it was gone after the next MRI scan. Recovery may be based on how
long it layed ontop of a pine area. As you can tell like many others we
are largly in the dark. Our doctor had a methodology of no medicine,
steriods etc. . He felt it was better to let the body and determination
build recovery. This was based on his findings of reverse effects with
medicine help. But who knows. I was sure in fear and we will pray for
Matthew. We have a 4 year old Matthew. Great Name!
Praise God, Dave, feel free to write back. Hope is all that is left
and as you are doing. Communication is at least something that can be
done.
