Hello Lady Bennie,
Yes the ankle surgery was as a result of damage caused by TM. I had very
bad forced foot drop for five years and the spasticity was also bad, so far
since the operation the foot is good, I nolonger have to wear a ankle and
foot brace, I have had some minor problems with a strangely reactive nerve
or some thing, but is is abating some and may go away, also my toes on the
right foot have started to curl downwards. It is a common problem with
stroke and neurological problems and how they cure it I hope to find out on
the 19 th July.
Kind Regards from Errol, Narangba, Queensland, Australia.
