Hello and welcome~

Glad you found us -- but sorry you had to deal with TM.

Recovery really varies from person to person. For me, after nearly four years
now, I still have numbness in one hand and both feet. My neuro told me if it
didn't get back to normal I'd get used to it. At first I thought that would
be totally unacceptable, but, I really have gotten used to it: it is probably
the least thing I am concerned about now. Many have found that they can
function with a certain amount of numbness -- the only real problem with it
is if hot/cold sensation or pain sensation are affected. In that case there
are things you have to watch out for (making sure water, etc., is not too
hot, inspecting for cuts or splinters if you don't feel pain.)

You are very early in your recovery, though, so you may get more feeling back
over time. I did regain a lot of feeling: I had been numb along my whole left
arm and lower body at first, so a lot of it did come back.

Best wishes,

Barbara H.
