Do any of you on this list have severe abdomen pain. Bill always had
some pain with his TM but since his colonoscopy - well it was a month
after the test - he has had severe pain mostly on the left side but on
the right, too.
The are now saying the TM is causing it - blocking off a nerve to the
stomach. They say the pain is NOT severe because his face is not
scrunched up. And sometimes when he is seeing the Doctor he does not
mention it and sometimes feels okay for about 1/2 hour while at the
Doctor's.
He seems to be almost dead. When I first got on this board he took his
computer apart, downloaded things, baked brownies once in a while, did
dishes, and so forth.
He knew all about every CNN topic. Now he doesn't even know what is on
tv and just sits and hangs his head. He can almost eat nothing.
For some reason they absolutely won't put him in the VA Hospital and he's
scared to go to another one without money. I just can't talk him into
another Hospital because he is afraid it will cost him a fortune.
Just wondering if anyone else has pain so severe. He has a nurse now -
home health and she never heard of TM, but that's not her fault. She is
going to call the Dr. to find out if the diagnosis really is TM. It
might just be "constipation." They gave him two enemas Friday.
He said he can't stand two more weeks of this. I've taken him to the VA
five times now in the last several weeks. I apologize for not reading all
the old posts here. I don't see how this is related to TM, well, it's
related, but why that is an excuse I don't know...to not do anything. He
does have a diagnosis of Diverticulitis.
I'm so worried about him. If you all don't have any ideas, don't feel
obligated to answer. I am considering having his son come down. What
do you think? He will come but then I don't know what to have him do. He
has to have the ex-wife bring him - she is the greatest- has learned all
about TM and all. But I hate to make them come unless we can actually
take him someplace. He won't even go to Immediate Care centers. I want
to either take him to Baptist Hospital "or" if it truly isn't an
emergency (fever is only about 99)....then to another Doctor for an
opinion. But we really don't even know what organ it is.
