Hello. Hang in there, and keep us posted on how you come out. As
bad as it might seem to be in the hospital, at least you are there and
got that test and the solumedrol or whatever-that-is.
Bill is going back tomorrow to the VA Hospital to the clinic -
over the weekend he had to go to ER and this time, they kept him two
hours. This is now making a total of over 60 days almost of severe pain
in the abdomen and the Doctors he can afford (the VA) have spent 15 min.
twice and then two hours in the ER room on him. I was sooo shocked when
he was again just sent home without being admitted.
They did empty him out (I think it was an enema).....I am so glad
they finally did that but they only made the pain worse. He guesses it
was the "green bottle" of laxative they give you there in ER - they also
x-rayed his stomach and gave him erythromycin (finally) for the
Cellulitis. His feet are now swollen up like an elephant's feet and the
original ulcer sore broke through again on the ankle.
He is in intense pain and last night when getting back from the
ER he said he thought he was going into a convulsion. Oh! And oddly
enough I noticed on his old records from 1996, the nurse listed him as
"MS".......but nobody has ever told him he has MS. Oh well........
I am glad to see you are still posting Mykella and I wish you
well tonight or tomorrow, whenever you get this message.
