caring, and knowledgable group of people. TM can be very confusing and
frustrating, and I cannot fully express how much this list has helped
me!
I have been back in the hospital now since Tuesday. I had a blood
infection which was treated with iv antibiotics, but I was still running
a temp. Once I got here, the temp subsided, but I was still in pain -
joint pain and headaches. So, now they are testing for some other kind
of inflammatory process. The test for Lupus should be back around
Tuesday. Apparently my bloowork showed some kind of inflammation...now
we have to find out what.
I was just started of 60mg Solumedrol iv
This morning my dr. said he was going to have to discharge me in the
next 24 hours because the hosp. case manager and the insurance were
giving him a hard time. The dr. would rather I stay through the
solumedrol...or at least we know for sure what this is. Anyway, I have
begun to run a temp. again so who knows what will happen now?
I had to have a second blood transfusion yesterday...only 3 weeks after
my last transfusion. So we also need to find out why my red blood cells
are not reproducing
Unfortunately, tonight, my nurse is the only nurse in this hosp. that I
dread to see. She thinks she knows everything and likes to lecture
(esp. when I am trying to sleep. Any of you know of any good way to
deal with such people, let me know ;-)
For example, one night she spent an hour (she can talk for an hour all
by herself) telling me how fillings were the cause of all the ills.
help! ;-)
WEll, I had better go
Take care, everyone,
Mykella
