Hi Karen,
You are so right, Karen, they should be giving him more encouragement =
than that. We were told the same about our little girl. It makes me so =
angry. Doctors are supposed to give hope, save lives. How may lives have =
been destroyed (maybe not literally, but destroyed all the same) because =
the doctors said "Don't bother trying."
I believe Ray should come to terms with the fact that he is TEMPORARILY =
disabled. There is so much being developed out there.=20
Perhaps I'm living in the clouds, but I believe Ray's emotion and =
attitude would be the first priority. Everything else he will depend on =
it. For a little while Ray and you (and others) may need to feel sorry =
for yourselves. After that, get someone to kick you in your collective =
butts because you guys have work to do. I say this with a tear in my =
eye, Karen.
When you are ready, have a good look through the net, there is plenty of =
hope out there - some in the form of alternative medicines and others - =
believe it or not - are being developed in mainstream medical science by =
the same kind of doctors that told you what they told you!
Cheers,
Roy
