[TMIC] Balance is so much better

Hi All,
I had a very adventurous Fathers Day. We decided to go boating, which
sometimes is hard for me because of my balance. Well, I walked out onto a
floating dock and was amazed that I could actually walk comfortably on it.
As I looked out over the lake and was thinking how great it was that I could
balance myself again, a little 2 year old girl fell off the dock and into
deep water. The mother was a bit freaked, but the child had on a wonderful
life saving device and I told the mother to calm down that the child was OK.
The life vest had righted her in the water and she was on he back screaming
her head off. The mom went it and brought her to me. I actually reached
down and picked this child up about 3 feet out of the water and set her down
on the dock. It was not a panic situation really. I am no hero or anything,
I just was so amazed that I did not lose my balance and I could actually pick
this child up with my right arm! It was a great feeling. I am getting
better. I than of course screwed things up by swimming about 250 yards in
cold water and cramped my right leg pretty bad. (Yes, Gunny I know this is
bad for me) Cramp is gone now and all is well. Just wanted to share good
news. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
