Thanks to all for responding to my plea for help. My husband, Bret, sees the
doctor in a week and a half and decided to wait until then before changing
anything (i.e. continuing Zanaflex or not). I bought him a heating pad and
didn't understand why he wouldn't plug it in last night so it would be
reachable in the morning. He then admitted he had gone to a chiropractor who
said not to use heat. That night he had put ice on his back, but said it
felt worse. He said after the chiro visit, he felt better but the ice set
him back again. I think he is going to try the chiropractor again and skip
the ice.
It is so hard to watch and not be able to help.
