Sure.. .It happens quite frequently..... In fact it happens with quite a few
different drugs.. However, not everyone experiences this side effect...If I
am not mistaken I think it even happens with birth control pills and HRT..
FYI--My 17 yr old son has been suffering with acne.. Believe it or not... we
most recently made our own discovery---Domboro ($10 for 10 paks--over the
counter) works better than anything he has ever tried for topical
application... [He has taken oral acutain ($135--Rx) which works like
gangbusters in about 30 days, however I am very leary of it.. as the side
effects are intense....] This is how we discovered it!! One day--when I had
a cut that wouldn't heal, I pulled out an ***old-old*** pack of domboro from
when I had suffered stapholococis/septicemia from late 1980's .... Was
shocked to even find it in my medicine cabinet...LOL!!! Even tho it expired
in 1991 -- I didn't know what else to do.. My cut just wasn't healing... So I
mixed the stuff up.. and within 3 days I began to heal nicely... So since I
had mixed 2 packs in water...making a solution of 16 ounces... I thought--why
not have Ry try it on his face.. I just had him hold a domboro soaked cotton
ball on his face for about an hour each day... 15 min here.. 15 there.. The
time adds up quickly... IT WAS AMAZING!!! It even worked for him!!!! Now he
tries to apply it 3-6 times a day.. whenever he remembers -- after sports,
etc. to keep his complection clear... The trick is to keep your face wet for
a while....Talk about a miracle!!! Now he just has those few that pop up
ocasionally and are annoying.. FINALLY we found something that works that
isn't an internal irritant--burning the skin from the inside out!!!
WHOOPPIEE!!!! AND HE has developed this great feeling of confidence once
again!!! WHAT A TREAT!!!
If any of you find you have this problem.. or your teenagers have this
problem... TRY IT! It can't hurt...All I did was pour out the alchohol from
a 16 ounce bottle.. and mixed two packs with distilled water.. UGH... gotta
tell ya the stuff doesn't smell all that great.. BUT it is better than
alcohol.. and is really very gentle on the skin...
Total cost--$2.00 per 16 ounce bottle (...plus the cost of distilled water
and the bottle of course...) --CHEAPER THAN ANY ACNE MEDICINE ON THE
MARKET!!!!
Domboro is just aluminum acetate buffered to an acid pH.
Make note.. The packet says solution should be tossed after use, however we
have been using the same bottle for over a month now.. it works GREAT!!! And
--IT IS STILL a QUARTER FULL!! --- NEVER AGAIN will I buy those $12 scrubs
the dermatologist suggests...and $35 topical Rx the doctor prescribed... WE
have FOUND THE SECRET!!!!

P.S.. I don't own stock in Domboro... However, If everyone finds the same
results.. I might buy it soon!!!! Heeheee... Then we can all sit back and
watch the price jump from $10 for 10 paks... to $15 for ONE pack and it will
