Hi all,
I would like some input form someone out there that has taken Tegretol. I
stopped taking it on Sunday night. I called my Dr. on Monday and told his
nurses about some very personal side effects that were occurring. The non
personal ones, like headaches every day, irritability, and a few others I
also mentioned. I asked if it was OK to cold turkey on the stuff also.
Well, it took them 28 hours to return my call. His nurse called and told me
not to take it for 2 weeks and then to try it again. Are they nuts or what?
Why in the world would I even want to go there again? Are these normal
instructions when taking these kind of meds? I am not going to try these
again. She told me to see regular Dr. and make sure nothing else was wrong.
Did that last Friday for my annual female workup. Nothing wrong there, all
is well. I guess I need to seek another Dr. I am so tired of this. Maybe no
Dr. is even better than an incompetent one.
