Hi Bob,
Didn't think you did! I just..uhm..hit that soapbox when I hear that
word, because it's been used as an excuse to not treat pain, or to not
take medicines, so we suffer. Would any of us take these meds if we
weren't in this situation? <excuse me> HELL NO! So..anyway..sorry if I
came off uhm..well anyway :)
Sam, abashed, and tired after the championship little league game was
called, tied, on account of darkness...

The article was about fibromyalgia, but it said ultram works in the brain and spinal cord to dull signals for severe pain. It is safer than addictive narcotics and does not cause drowsiness. It does have side effects - itching, dizziness.nausea, constipation and headaches, but these may be avoided by starting on a low dose and gradually increasing how much you take. I'm having constant burning pain in my trunk and right leg. The neurontin helps a little, but it's starting to really interfere with my everyday life. Does anyone have any other ideas ? Thanks in advance,Cheryl
