Baclofen is the drug of choice for spasticity of
spinal origin.
As I remember it, Neurontin is intended for spasticity
of cerebral origin.
The difference in your doctor's recommendations might
reflect a difference in opinions re the source.
I have had no side effeects from either Neurontin or
