In reply to your question about BP, here goes: I started TM with a flu
virus at the end of January this year. My hubby had just had the same
symptoms and had double pheumonia when I came down with it. I saw the
doctor after a week of 103-104 fever. Just a virus, he said. Five days
later (weekend), I went to hospitall emergency. Same diagnosis. Three
days later my bladder shut down. Anyway, five more days later I was
admitted to hospital, a neurologist called in and the tests started. By
that time, I couldn't walk without support. I was in the hospital for
10 days. You know the routine. My BP was very low during the whole of
my stay in hospital and continued to be that way until about 7-8 weeks
ago. I used to monitor it at home and it was nuts the way it would dive
so quickly. Yuk. Anyway, it just went back to normal over a period of
about one week. I have taken no meds except cortisone (intraveneous) in
the hospital and 2 months on antibiotics to prevent bladder infection
because I had started self-cath. Hope that helps.
