To everyone on this list: correct me if I'm wrong but I think I've
heard of the spinal cord injury first and the virus entering second - on
this board. I think we were just guessing, though. I think some people
said their Doctor thought the injury came first and the virus came
second. But, that is only the "the Doctor thought" and it might be hard
to prove.
It is my opinion, in your case, that the injury came first and the
infection entered because of the injury.
But, what do I know? With Bill, he fell into a dumpster when
working on a crane of some type. He could always write before the fall
and after the fall he couldn't sign his name. This fall was in the 80's.
But,....in 1971 he had some symptoms back then that sound like TM.
So.........sometimes it crosses my mind that he fell "because" his legs
were already weak. Which would mean the TM came first.
Either way it goes, all the insurance companies and the bosses etc.
got together and decided he didn't deserve any benefit at all of any
type, so thank God for the VA, I guess. (in that circumstance)
I sure do wish you the best, though, in proving your case! .... !
I think the insurance companies etc. will try to prove something didn't
happen no matter what is going on.
A Bible verse just came to my mind - it says something about ask the Lord
and not the judge. That is all I can think of to do - pray to the Lord
for some help, here.
