The only PT I did after TM onset was exercises physio gave me to
strengthen the muscles that control the knees because they would buckle
every two feet. It helped a lot but I still have trouble when I tire.
Sometimes one knee buckles or the fatigue brings on pain and trembling.
My gait changes. Hubby teases me & calls me Daisy (duck). The pain is
usually gone the next morning but it does tell me when I have gone far
enough and have to rest.

About memory & brain processing: I no longer read books because of lack
of concentration - just short articles. In the last week, I have
programmed the VCR 3 times only to discover I taped the weather channel
or something like that. Thought processing? I seem to go to one room
only to forget why I went there. I asked my hubby 4 times yesterday
what time his tee-off time was today. Until you brought the subject up,
I assumed this was normal in our situation and had put it out of my
mind. I have watched sick or elderly people turn inward and not
remember a TV program they just watched. It doesn't mean the mind is
not processing information correctly, it's just concentrated on other
things. Reminds me of the lady who lost the egg last week. Anybody
elese out there have an opinion on this ?
