Finally got your post! Welcome to the TMIC. As one of us usually says, we are
glad you found us but sorry you had to have TM to do so.
You sounded amazingly calm about the beginning of your TM! I started with one
hand feeling funny, like I'd slept on it wrong, then my feet starting feeling
"funny" It was then I called the dr. and headed for ER. Numbness progressed
in my legs. lower body, and left arm -- I thought I was having a stroke: that
was the only thing I knew of that could cause numbness like that. I have
since learned there are many things.
TM recovery varies greatly: some seem to recover almost fully, some don't
recover much at all, but most of us recover to some degree -- we regain a lot
but still have a number of symotoms to deal with.
I like your attitude and philosophy! They will stand you in good stead.
You asked in another post how long it takes a posting to get through. It
really varies. Some things go through almost immediately, some things take a
few minutes to a few hours. Guess it depends on how busy things are out there
in cyberspace at any given time.
