About medicines, Bill takes neurontin (gabapentin) for his stomach
pain sometimes and has been doing it since 1994. He only takes 300's
about twice a day because he had trouble when taking more. Oh! They are
given for muscle cramps but he claims they help stomach pain.
He also takes baclofen - I think that is to keep his legs from
jumping around and it makes it so his legs can move just a little bit.
Both of those have the side affect of making his feet swell up
sometimes. Some people don't get that.
Also, sometimes he takes motrim (spelling?) and exedrin for pain.
The Docs told him to take the first but the second he just does on his
own sometimes.
Those are the main ones - oh! Also furisemide (lasix) which I
definitely can't spell which is a water pill.
He also uses breathers and takes about 3 more medicines given by
the VA but the above are the "main" ones. Then, he takes many things he
buys on his own over-the-counter.
If you don't mind my asking, where are you in Kentucky?
