Hello Cherry,
I have been having the same thing with my toes on my right foot starting to
curl down, more so since I had an operation on the right foot and ankle to
stop the spasticity and foot drop. I had the tib post & achilies tendons
lengthened and part of the tendon that goes to the big toe area spliced to
the one that goes toward the right side of the foot. I also have been
having lots of weaking sensation above the right knee, the leg will spasm
upwards some times quite violently. However I saw the specialist ortho
today and he will monitor it for six weeks and see how it goes. Trouble is
sometimes I fall when the knee goes and the right ankle lets go if I get it
at the right ankle.
Scooters. I looked at lots before I purchased one. I ended up buting a
Fisher & Paykell three wheeler, it is made in New Zealand, and over here
offers good service. My next choice was a Pride, an American, also a
three wheeler and slightly larger than the Fisher. Also saw a couple of
local ones, one a real blunderbus plus a number of US and European types.
Also I have an electric hoist to lift it into and out of the rear of my
station sedan, a Ford Falcon Futura.
Good to see you are keeping on keeping going. Stay focused and happy as
possible,
Kind Regards from Errol, Narangba, Queensland, Australia.
