Hi Natasha,
Have you experienced any headache? is the vision problem getting any worse?
Maybe you should talk with your neuro and not wait for the eye doctor.

My daughter experienced blurry vision 3 weeks ago. It began with a slight
headache that progressively got worse.After about 5 days of the headache, she
woke up with blurry vision in the lower portion of her right eye. An MRI
revealed "optic neuritis". She was treated with Solumedrol 1000mg for 3 days.
Her vision has cleared up and the headache is gone.
