Kevin,

About panic attacks - I've had those and also I've been obsessive
compulsive before. Here are the things that have helped me:

1) Saying Praise the Lord to myself and praying. (in the spirit)
That might sound shocking
but it is something I tried while living in Washington DC and it
worked!

2) Listening to Shakti Gawain tapes. I can't spell it but they are
relaxation tapes and if
you listen every night for about 20 or 30 min. they kind of put you
into a positive state of
mind and after a while you can cope better (maybe)

3) Speaking up. A Psychiatrist's Secretary once told me the people
who have trouble with
obsessive compulsive or panic type things usually are scared to
speak up. You ask them how their day was and they always say "fine,"
but most people would tell the truth. It is something she noticed about
the ones easily paniced compared to a regular person. I speak up now
but a lot of times it gets me in trouble but I don't panic near as much.

Yes it is really really an awful thing to deal with! Oh! And
Vitamin B helped me, too.

Just some thoughts.
