Thanks to those who replied to my posting as "new patient". This is
month 5 since I came down with TM and I admit the physicological
adaptation to my limitations is very difficult on some days. I found a
neat trick that got me through this far. I allowed myself 15 min. a day
to feel sorry for myself. No more - no less. Sometimes I cried,
sometimes I just sat and stared out the window thinking nothing. I find
that as time by, I need my 15 min less and less. My morale is so much
better. I do have moments of discouragement and frustration and it's
great to know you're all there feeling what I'm feeling and getting on
with life, especially some of you who got TM years ago.
I used to have the cold in my legs but that went away. Now, I only have
it in my back. Hope somebody else has had this and wants to talk about
it. Diane
