In regard to your husbands headaches, I also had headaches for a long
time...strangely, they happened almost every weekend, and very severe.
They turned out to be a symptom of high blood pressure, which my family
doctor never diagnosed..(long since left him). In fact, I went to a
doctor that was covering for him, for the flu, and he said: "do you
know how high your blood pressure is?" I had no idea...so he
immediately put me on blood pressure medication. The headaches
stopped! I was lucky to have a warning I guess.
It took a few different medications to find a good combination, but now
I take Vasotec and Metoprolol, and the blood pressure is much better.
Btw, I have been amazed to find that many doctors in my area DON'T take
blood pressure as a rule of thumb. I think that should be automatic
when you visit a doctor...but now I always remind them...don't be shy
about this.
take care,
Kevin
