I can't speak for everyone, but I think most of us have felt the tight band
around the waist. I believe it has something to do with where the
scare/lesion
was formed on the spine by TM.
Most likely the internist won't be able to tell you anything about it. My
internist
kept taking x-rays of my stomach and kept on telling me that everything was
ok. However, it does go away. It just takes a while. I believe the more
exercise
you get the faster it goes away, but I'm not sure. All I remember is that it
was hell
to live with.
When I came back from the hospital, my right leg was all messed up because
TM hit my right side the hardest. My right leg was swollen for some time. I
wore
some special socks, called terra-hose (spelling?) that kept the swelling
from
getting too bad. Then when I started to learn how to walk again, the
swelling went
away.
Hope this help a bit,
- Rudy.
