Hi My name is Debbie, my mother was dx with TM dec 98. She ask if i would
ask a few questions and one of them would be the tight "band" around the
trunk. Do you also so have any swelling? Moma is three times her normal
size. Doctors say that the fluid is building up because she's not moving
much. Three weeks ago they drained some off her stomach but today she seems
even bigger.( her left leg, stomach, and some times her hands and arms.) She
can't put on shoes and we got her a size 3x dress to wear(normal is 14). The
last two weeks it's been very bad, She is having a hard time breathing. One
Doctor put her on water pills ( that's been 6 weeks ago) there not working
now he is sending her to someone else.
Tuesday (May 18) I'll take her to an internist. I told him about this group
and he said it would be helpful if i could bring some information from ya'll.
