Hello Kris and Welcome to Nancy,
I can't say that I saw Nancy's story, may have been when I was off line for
a while even though I was checking the List archives some days. Any way
If I did see and not respond, I am truely sorry.
Nancy, what a story, what a wonderful person you are especially dealing in
the education of those less fortunate childern, during my bus and coach
driving days, I used to carry a special school on their outings and camps,
so I have an idea what you are into.
I also have a weight problem, while I was in hospital for five months in
1994 when TM hit me, I was on a special hospital diet and put on 36 pounds,
but I have labourously managed to get about 26 pound off over the
interviening period, it is hard work, but then I am able to walk some. I
have seen an exercise machine for papaplegic wheelchair dependant people
where your feet are strapped to pedals and you hand crank another set which
also moves your legs as well, might be worth looking into if the is one at a
an accessable gym near you. Any Nancy, be focused and positive and work
hard when you can, and with a bit of luck and prayer, some success may be
there, look forward to hearing your postings in the future,
Kind Regards from Errol, Narangba, Queensland, Australia.
