I just wanted to share my good news with you. Several days ago, I walked my
children to school and as we got near to the school I realised that I did
not have my cane and hadn't even missed it! Since then, I have been going
out without it and have been fine. There are still certain situations where
I would take it for confidence but I am thrilled not to need it any more for
every day.
I feel so very fortunate as back in September I could not even transfer from
a chair to the bed. I hope this gives some encouragement to those who are
newly diagnosed.
