Yes, we are OK. I told someone yesterday that my daughter in OKC
suburb was within 5 miles of one but it was within 1 mile. She actually
had to report to duty as nursing director at major hospital after 11. All
hospitals were running code after the major hit! Have no idea how she
got in as it is a 25 min. trip if traffic is light and all the interstates in
the
City were shut down. We had to go to the basement after midnight when
they blew the sirens in town but that one never came down out of the
clouds. Must say we in OK were well aware of what was going on in
our part of the state!! The three TV stations and their affiliate radio sta-
tions started broadcasting only storm news at 4:45 and I went to bed
after one and the storms were just getting out of their broadcast areas.
We watched the storms as they devastated our state as all of our TV
station have trained storm chasers. It was awesome!!!
I think that Larry T. is probably OK. The major stuff was north of where
he lives.
