I hope everybody has been well. I have not been around for a while. But
just recently had another set back after suffering with a stomach flu for 12
hours.
Anyway, I went in for infusion therapy (solumedrol 2000 mg for 5 days)
followed by oral 20 mg tapered. This time it has not helped as much as last.
Has anyone had a simular experience?
I have also been told that even though my spinal tap and evolked potential
came ack clear; I have a 52% chance of having the DX changed to MS. But for
now they are certain it is still TM. I was also told that Insurance
companies can drop you if the Dx is changed! I was also told my disability
could be discontinued.
Can anyone tell me if they have run across this?
If so, how have they handled it. Now I am more scared than ever. Here I am
getting worse and my Dr,s are telling me all this.
