[TMIC] What Do I DO Now?

I was recently diagnosed with transverse myolitis and was hospitalized for
two weeks which I underwent some heavy duty steroids and anti-seizure
medication. I went back to work about a month ago and up until a recent
cold felt okay. I am having a relapse and have pain in my back that
doesn't seem to ever go away. The tingling and iching have also returned.
The doctors have me back on steroids and off of work. He originally said
my MRI was "scary".

I am so afraid I will have to live with this forever. I had a baby about
two months before this happened and I had an epideral. Could the epideral
have triggered this condition. Should I ask for a second MRI to be done?
I don't think this medication is working but I'm afraid to go off of it for
fear I will end up back in the hospital. With a 6 month old baby I can't
aford to slow down. Can someone help me to understand this condition and
see if I am going in the right direction with medication?

Thank you

Kathy
