Hi everyone, Well the prayers worked! Shannon no longer is having =
contractions and her condition is stable. Apparently,she has a bacterial =
infection of some kind and is now on IV antibiotics,as well as IV meds =
to halt the contractions. Her baby is about 2 pounds,but at 26 weeks he =
would not be able to breathe on his own. They have given her some type =
of steroid to help the lungs mature,but it's iffy that it will =
work.Plus,at the hosp. she's at now they believe she has lost a =
significant amount of amniotic fluid. So the baby may have to be =
delivered. The specialist says the baby is a "fighter",has a strong =
heartbeat,and they have high hopes everything will go well.I'm waiting =
to hear the results of testing regarding all this. Thank you all for the =
messages and prayers. I knew that all of you are caring compassionate =
