Not sure what this is all about but I have a couple of comments.
First, it is very easy to get your own parking spot at the
apartment. I called public works and they came out, made
sure it was appropriate and then sent a crew out to paint
the blue lines and put up the sign. I live on a main drag in
Covington, KY and it has been fine. However, a friend recently
told me that because I am on a main street that when I don't move the
car for a couple of days that they could consider it abandoned and
ticket it as abandoned. I've had this spot for three years and have had no
problems.
