Hi Everybody...

Ok, I know I have been VERY quiet for many a day.. But boy, have we had the
craziest stuff going on in our lives!!!.... Some things have been super
great...Some things very stressful... Through it all, amazingly I have
remained fairly stable, (even with the wet cold weather) although my
lingering (overworking) heart problems haven't really subsided... But
thankfully, they haven't gotten any worse!!! A few of the good things: My
son was approached by a scout for the Chicago Cubs and also by an Angels
Scout, and he is only a junior in High School!!! And last month he also had a
meeting with the National Olympic Shooting Coach, from the Olympic Shooting
Complex in Colorado Springs... So the excitement level in our home is quite
dramatic! It's getting kinda tough to keep my heart rate lowered when these
type of things keep happening...τΏτ
The tough stuff -- my honey's heart is not working properly
(underworking)...and now we are keeping a close eye on him... Imagine
this--my loving partner and caretaker needs someone to take care of him
now...What a shift in reality!!!! A week after this discovery a relative was
arrested....and recently we have had to step in and take over for an aging
Grandparent unable to do simple things on her own....And Yes, we still
struggle with the normal everyday problems that plague us all.... So, as I
said, life really is interesting these days... Honestly, I don't know how but
I have kept my head above water...Just keeping my head above the drowning
pools, has left me with a good feeling... If only I didn't have to deal with
the Lupus and TM, my life might be just like everyone else's!!! τΏτ Thank
goodness for the blessings that come everyday... I appreciate them so much
now!!!! If I wasn't sick, I have a feeling they might be taken for
granted!!! See, there really is a silver lining in every cloud!!!!

Well, I do want each of you to know that I keep you in my thoughts and
prayers daily....and often peek at the posts..... Especially the most recent
regarding Handicapped Parking... I'm sure many of you remember my battle with
the City of LA, of which I recently won!!!! But I was very intrigued by the
following post... and wondered how many have the problem of stolen placards
in their states... Because it is a BIG problem here in California!!!

Hmm... It is interesting that you say this... because here in California...
Those placards are stolen and sold for $100's of dollars... In fact, I have
had to replace my placard once because mine was taken out of my car.... I've
been told that they sell them in back rooms, and are hidden until asked for
at swap meets.... So, I'm sure that as you say, "there are many people out
there using those placards who don't need them."

Hmmm... I wonder what the fines are for those who have bought stolen
placards--Better yet-- What happens to the guys selling them?! Jail time I
hope!!!

BIG HUGS TO ALL!!!
