Dear Friend,
We are pleased to announce that Camp Civitan near Williams, Arizona will
offer six camping sessions this summer for the physically and mentally
challenged. The dates of the camping sessions are:
May 30-June 5 Rodeo Week
June 6-12 Rodeo Week
June 13-19 Christmas Week
June 20-26 Christmas Week
June 27-July 3 Halloween Week
July 4-10 Halloween Week

A maximum of 40 campers may attend each camp. Campers must be at least 12
years old (younger campers may attend with the permission of the Camp
Director).
The Foundation provides staff and food for these camps. The fee is $150
per week per camper. Scholarship (campership) funds of up to $25 may be
available for those needing assistance with the fee however; each camper
must pay at least $125 of the camp fee. Each camper may be awarded a
campership for only one camping session each summer.

sessions fill up quickly. Upon receipt of application form and fees,
campers will be sent detailed information regarding camp location, arrival
time, packing list, etc.
The camp is available for lease to other groups-handicapped or
non-handicapped-on a space-available basis. The cost is $200 per day plus
$3 per day per camper and staff. We require that handicapped groups provide
their own licensed nurse. The camp offers a full kitchen including
utensils; three multi-purpose rooms; two indoor recreation areas one
outdoor covered area with barbecue; outdoor basketball half-court; campfire
site; and spacious dormitories. All sites are wheelchair accessible
