Annie - Not a bad approach. The only thing I can think of is to
educate these idiots. I talked on the phone a few months ago to a
long time friend who lives far away. He has not seen me since I got
TM (and became a much larger person). He told me that he had bawled
out a fat woman who had a placard and parked in a handicapped spot.
He was embarrassed when I told him that he had just described me.
People who yell at us usually just don't realize the different ways
one could be handicapped and that not everything is evident to the
naked eye. Most of them believe that they are defending the rights of
the handicapped. If it weren't for my late father's severe heart
problems, and this disease, I probably wouldn't get it either. Ann

I finally got my plackard yesterday and have been afraid to use it
yet! Now
I'm even more scared! Maybe I'll print out a little tiny pamphlet

explains that I have MS and may look well but feel like hell and hand

anyone making snide remarks or even looking at me sideways! Forwarned
