Thanks Jan! I love your phrase 'robot walk.' That
describes it pretty well. In my episode Sunday, it wasn't
painful (til later and then it was my spine, which is fairly
normal), just nothing would work. On the one hand, it felt
like everything had stiffened to absolute rigidity. On the
other hand, nothing was rigid enough to support me. . .my
knees kept buckling. And I couldn't make my legs move.
Next month will be two years with TM for me and I've
gardened to some degree throughout. This is the first time
this year, so I'd expect muscle soreness, but I only made
it about 30 minutes before everything quit working.

I, too, was used to doing a lot of gardening pre-TM. Not to
say that it's been a hobby, but giving the old heave-ho to a
pile of dirt has been a great stress reliever for me. I
won't, I can't, give up going out to pull the weeds. But
maybe, until I can get my 'gardening legs' back under me
appropriately, I'll try just laying down on my stomach to do
it! :-) (Picture me flat on the ground lost in the herb
garden with weeds flying through the air!) LOL Yeah, I'm
bothered about the limits that TM puts on what I want to
do. But I haven't given up yet.

BTW, re using the shopping cart, do you ever find yourself
in a gentle battle with the loved ones in your life who
automatically take over the shopping cart thinking that they
are helping you. I've told my guys that it helps me to be
the one to push it, but every time I turn around, off
they've gone with the cart! :-)

Thanks again for your help.

Jane
