I don't know how this would relate to TM, but when I garden I have to
take a paper bag out to Bill's garden and kneel down on my knees on that.
I wear old slacks and usually get my knees dirty. I can't squat at all.
If I would try squatting or pulling weeds from a standing position,
either one, I would really hurt.
Like I said, even though I don't have TM, I've had a car wreck with
extreme tissue damage to the leg - couldn't walk for a while after the
accident, and also had a broken leg with 6 weeks or more without walking,
also had Vitamin B Deficiency before----anyway,.......whenever I squat
any more and then get up, I get lightheaded for a minute. Oh! I know
what I was going to say. One time when I worked in an office, I had to
file in a lower cabinet, behind a door, without a stool, and with sort of
high heels on. The somewhat high heels pushed my foot up, and I was in a
"squatting" type of position. ........After that, I had all types of
problems with the left leg for quite a while but it finally went away.
One last thing - just heard on the radio yesterday on a talk show - a
lady called in and said she was in a wheelchair for a while - nobody
could help her, problems standing, problems with legs-----anyway, she had
ended up by accident in a health food store here - and someone decided
she had a yeast problem or "candida" and they suggested I think
aphadopholis (whatever in the heck that is).....and several vitamins,
along with almost no carbohydrates or sugars at all. This lady said she
is so very excited that now she walks again and feels a lot better.
So, sometimes there are odd solutions to things that we haven't
thought of. Or unrelated things that enter into our health. I had
another friend once who couldn't walk and they decided hers was gout -
and in that case they told her to eat vegetarian beans and no meats,
which is the opposite of the above lady. That woman got rid of the pain
in her legs, too.
Then we have Bill, with a diagnosis of TM,.....who has passed each and
every test at University Hospital, showing not even a trace of TM, but
still with that diagnosis. I give up.
Just a few thoughts. I just mainly wanted to echo that I have
trouble in gardens also.
