Jane, Living in the same area, I did the same thing over the weekend. I
also noticed that the same thing. to a slightly lesser degree, happened to
me. I think that no matter how much you try to keep in shape, when you get
out for the first time in the year and try to do yard work you are using
different muscles that you havent used in a while. Unfortunately, it does
not take too much time for those muscles to let you know this. If you do
not notice improvement after a few days, then, perhaps, it is something
else. Today is monday, and I am still feeling the effects of the weekend.
I hope you get better soon, doing the same gardening a few more time should
awaken some of the unused muscles a bit and make it easier in the long run.
