Carri,
I agree with Alton and Lynn about not saying anything on the resume` about disability. I had a strange thing happen this past friday that is similar. I went to a local radio station to be interviewed about a program I manage working as job coaches for developmentally delayed adults. I had only spoken with the interviewer over the phone one time and the topic was about hiring the disabled. It never occurred to me that I needed to mention my disability status. When I arrived at the station, I could not enter due to them not having a ramp! Needless to say it was very uncomfortable for all of us, I'll due the interview over the phone this next week. The station manager informed me they will have a ramp very soon.
Good luck on your job hunting,
Larry in Oklahoma
