I have had a parking permit since prior to onset of
tm because of my feet---for those of you who have
not heard me grouse about my 'other' problem, I have
a skin condition that causes me to lose the outer skin on
my feet every 6 weeks to 2 months thus I have to wear
only slippers and in hot weather the asphalt parking
lots are bad as is rain, snow, etc..l Anyway! I use my
permanent permit whenever I am having trouble--but I
don't use it all the time! I had to have my doctor, in my
case my dermatologist, fill out and send in the form. I
was really unhappy when I got a permanent permit cause
it told me more than I wanted to know about what my
chances for a 'normal' life were--had no idea that I would
get something that made walking long distances a bigger
problem than hot or wet parking lots! Course, now I don't
feel the heat or water so guess I got a trade-off!! <g>
