As Alton and others said so well, there are products that help to contain
accidents, which, though we'd really rather not have to deal with them, it is
better than fearing a public accident or staying home because of that
possibility. I am female, and wear a sanitary pad all the time, and a
"Depends" if I'm traveling or going to a situation where I don't know what
the availabilty of bathroom will be. In addition, have you talked to your dr.
about any medications? I haven't heard of any for bowel problems, but a
couple for urinary problems are Ditropan and Detrol. I think there are
others, and none of them work well for everyone, and I don't think any of
them take care of the problem completely, but they do help some and it might
be worth checking into.
