It's me! Sharon in AZ. Welcome to MS! Like you said--at least people know
what you are talking about when you say MS instead of TM. LOL.... I'm glad
to hear you are starting on Avonex soon. I am an old pro at Avonex now. I
started it in June of 98. I do feel it has helped me and I don't have as
many attacks as I was before. But, I also see some progression in my MS.
Thank God there are drugs now to treat MS! How are you doing? I'm still
dealing with it. I thought when I got the diagnosis that I was fine with it
because I felt such relief that FINALLY I had a dx. A friend of mine with MS
told me I would go through a grieving process and I thought I wouldn't.
Well, I was wrong. I am still going through periods of grief and loss. But,
then the people with TM have the same problem.
I am also going to stick with this list--I get more out of it than I do from
the two MS lists I'm on. Thanks to all the wonderful people here!
Write to me anytime and I'll be glad to give my opinions, advice and we can
gripe and whine to each other when needed.
