I've found that lots, and I do mean LOTS, of moisturizer on soles of feet and
toes help a lot. For the back of my left heel that gets very tender from a
tight heel cord, a roll on non-greasy, non-smelly lotion containing Caspascin
works wonders! Caspascian is the active ingredient in hot peppers so don't
touch this stuff and then rub your eyes. But it works on my heal pain better
than DayPro or Davocet. The last bottle I got was at KMart. It's called
CAPZASIN-HP it's made by Thompson Medical Company. I seem to remember it was
less than $5 for the 2 oz bottle and that lasts quite awhile.
