My nephew is at home recovering from spinal surgery. He has a birth defect
that causes fatty tissue to intwine around the base of his spinal cord. The
surgery was a success and his kidneys, bladder and bowels are all working
again on there own. He had to have some "assistance" in those areas for a
while. He is walking with a savere limp in his right foot, but the doctors
are saying that with time and therapy he should fully recover. They (the
doctors) will be keeping an eye on him until he reaches the age where he
stops growing. Each growth spurt is when they are concerned. All considered,
he has been blessed and so have we.

I want all of you to know that since I have joined this list I have learned
so much about you all, watching and reading you interact I have learned that
this is a family unit and you all are full of kindness and compassion for
eachother and everyone who come into your family. I often think of you when
I am driving accross the 11 mile long bride I take home every evening and I
wish that you all could see it and know that when I see it I am thinking of
you all and praying that you are all feeling well. I would like to peak in
every so often, to see how you are, or to send you a picture or two of this
beautiful sunset that I prayed at first for my nephew and now for you all.
Thank you so very much for your strength and love. I will never forget your
kindness. God bless you all and please remember if any of you need anything
let me know.
