Hi,
I have only read all your messages since my mum took sick which was on
the 24 December 1998.

First we were told that they did not know what as wrong, then on Xmas
day a sister at the hospital told us that the reports has come back to
say that mum had TM.

Next the doctor told us that he did not agree with what had me said by
the MRI and that he thought that she had ad a spine stroke. He sent her
to have rehabition and she went from bad to worse. To start Mum could
get around with the help of a walker and now she is confirmed tot a
wheel chair and has to rely on others for all her personal needs.

The doctor has now told us that he is not sure if it was a spine stroke
or if maybe she has Gillian Brea Sydrome, not that it really matters as
there is noting that they can do for her and that sshe has to get used
to not being able to walk again.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it as this has been a long 3
months for both of us and the rest of the family.

My mum was always a very active woman of 76 years and led a very active
life.

Barbara
