I too never sought a second opinion--partially because I'd gotten a "sidewalk"
consult from a neurologist friend who highly reccommended my current neurologist
and concurred with the diagnosis, but also because I knew my neurologist had
discussed my case with other highly regarded neurologists and all concurred. Do
what you feel most comfortable with--you should be able to have no doubts. The
disease is enough to deal with.
