Hang in there. I know Bill has nights like that so I can sympathize.
In fact, most of his nights seem to be a little "off." I didn't sleep
too good lately myself - I don' t know if it's outdoor pollution or too
much pizza or what.
What really jumped out at me was what you said about being kept
prisoner in a facility. I suppose if you really really have to be in
one, then you make the best of it - and some are real nice---but I met
Bill when he was in a nursing home. I loved that place, but still, it
was just a sad situation to be dumped there by his family. The second
place where he went - I won' t use names - but kind of a rehab place - it
was just awful!!!! Like a prison or worse because nobody seemed to be
having fun and sometimes in a prison I think they have some fun or nice
card games.
Bill has been out of those places for 5 years - and many many people
don' t know why I don' t just stick him back in there. Like it's
nothing. Maybe I'm just in a grumpy mood but anyway in some way your
comments cheered me up - thinking it's worth it to keep him out as long
as I can - and to see that you somehow understand.
Oh well, I'm not making sense but I liked your post. When Bill has
those leg cramps he uses different massagers that he plugs in but I don'
t know if that is recommended by PT people but he usually does that and
he also takes a sleeping pill if he really has to - one that his Doctor
gave him.
