What were the initial symptoms and timing when this
started in '96? Any guesses about the cause?
80 mg prednisone is a rather heavy dose. High enough
to suppress your adrenal production. I infer that you
were on it for only a couple of days?
It is possible that some of the most recent symptoms
("in two days I feel awful. Real shaky, heart
pounding, weak and just an insecure feeling.") are
only a consequence of the "really bad head cold."
Try not to worry yourself sick over what might be
temporary. And, yes, you might be right. But if you
worry a lot, that stress will hurt your situation.
Several people on the list have had variable symptoms;
I'm sure you will hear from them tomorrow or Monday.
I have noticed some variability --- my spasms and
excretory control have gotten a bit worse recently.
