My experience since I've been on Avonex is that I get fewer colds. I've been
exposed to many cold viruses this winter (my 5 grandkids and my co-workers)
and I have felt like I "might" get a cold a couple of times, but never did.
We also had a terrible flu season here and I didn't get that either (hear that
sound???? that's me knocking on wood). I did get a sinus infection and that
had to be treated with antibiotics two times before it went away. When my
sister-in-law was on Interferon for Hepatitis C treatment she never caught a
cold either. But, it does take a little time to build up the resistance I
guess.

Good luck on the second shot!
