I was at physical therapy today when I passed out. My blood pressure =
was 60/40. Fortunately, I was on a mat doing exercises so I didn't have =
far to fall. I am upset about this because about 2 months ago my neuro =
took my BP and told me it was 80/50 and I needed to get it checked out. =
So I did. I was not having dizziness or passing out at that time. I saw =
the nurse practictioner, as it was a 3 week waiting to see my primary =
physician. She told me my BP was slightly low, but nothing to worry =
about. So I haven't, until now. =20
I was particularly alarmed because when I came to I could not move my =
arms or legs (the legs usually don't move much anyways). I was so =
scared! I just kept telling myself that I had overworked my arms and =
they were fatigued. After about 30 minutes I could move my fingers and =
slowly began to be able to move my arms again. During this period I was =
very cold (felt cold and was cold to the touch). Anyways, I am feeling =
weak, but the arms are working well again. Has anyone ever had this or =
anything similar happen?
I do plan to pay my primary physician a visit as soon as I can make an =
appointment.
Doing better.....I think.
